We reach Indian Garden after hiking 200 feet upward
through the switchbacks called the Devil's Corkscrew.
Springs feed the tall cottonwood trees and
beautiful blooming redbuds at Indian Garden.
At 3800 feet, we have 3060 feet and 4.6 miles to go to reach the rim.
Near the rim we navigate Jacob's Ladder, a series of 40 lengthy switchbacks.
